Karma Takapa, actor of web series, ‘The Last Hour’, says ‘Northeast opens up possibilities

Mumbai: Actor-filmmaker Karma Takapa is garnering massive fan following for his role of the magician Dev in the new web series, ‘The Last Over’. The show also puts the Northeast in the limelight, and he calls it a good thing because it opens up possibilities.

Karma Takapa says, “This is a good thing. That the Northeast has always been in limelight. A lot is said about people and places in the mainstream media and a lot has been said about it in mainstream movies and shows as well.”

He added, “It opens up possibilities. I don’t know how far we’ll go with these possibilities and where it will take us, but right now, given the current discussion, it’s a good thing.”

Shot in Sikkim, the show revolves around an investigating officer investigating a mysterious death. He takes the help of Dev, a person with supernatural powers, to solve the matter.

Written and produced by Amit Kumar and Anupama Minj, and produced by Oscar-winning filmmaker Asif Kapadia, the show also stars Sanjay Kapoor, Shahana Goswami, Robin Tamang and Shelly Krishna. It is streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
